Inspiration

I am drawn to our basic connections to plants and their essential nature in our lives: plants provide us with foods, fibers, medicines, products and environments to live in. My imagery is based on individual plants and the forms they create in various growth phases -- seen both microscopically and naturally. By studying these different phases, I can better understand a plant's growth process, its history of life and possibly get a glimpse into its origins.
